Swirl it, Top it, Weigh it, Pay it.

Yesterday afternoon, I was faced with a very serious decision. Very. Serious.

Chocolate…or Vanilla.

After work, I realized that I was an entire day off with my schedule. That means that I brought yoga clothes to work on a day I should be running. That also meant that I didn’t have the running clothes that I needed.

Obviously, the only rational thing to do was to pick the Bean up from school…and go to the frozen yogurt bar. Obviously.

The Bean’s delicious mix is on the left. Mine is on the right. Yummm!

That’s my, “this yogurt is yummy” face.

This is her, “mom…could you please stop taking pictures of me so I can eat my yogurt!?” face.

Love this place! Kelly’s Frozen Yogurt is on Mount Rushmore Road, in Rapid City for those of you who haven’t discovered its wonderfulness yet! Thankfully, it’s in the same building as Mostly Chocolates. Lucky! The owner told us yesterday that Sunday’s are half-price yogurt day too. Tempting much?! I think so!

That’s it for now. Simple and sweet.

I’ve been in a little bit of a funk the last few days, and seriously need to snap out of it. A portion of that comes from the fact that I’ve not run in over a week now…and that’s never a good thing. I’m going to do my timed 5K after work today, or maybe at lunchtime. I’ll let you know how that goes!

Happy Wednesday!

How do you snap out of a funk? Exercise? Time with friends? Let me know!

  1. fro yo is pretty much a food group in this girl’s life. the self-serve craze is just stating to hit chicago and i am lovin’ it.

i get out of a funk by working out! it used to be a heart pounding run, but these days, yoga or a long walk with the dogs clears my head and refreshes my body.

  2. She is so precious!!

And I would kill for a froyo shop like that near me! I have only experienced the amazingness of self serve froyo once when I was in Princeton visiting, and that is when it became my dream college. 😉

  3. I am totally in a funk too, I’m having a frustrating week and I haven’t run since Friday because of my stupid returning cold! Froyo is always a good way to deal with it 🙂

  4. Yum!!! Cute pics of you and the bean!!! I love me some froyo!!!
